Experience the Synergy of Sound Healing and Breathwork
Step into a space where breath and sound speak the same language—the language of the body.
Through down-regulation breath patterns, your breath becomes a gentle guide, signaling safety to your nervous system and inviting your body to soften. As your exhale lengthens, the body begins to unwind—muscles release, the heart rate slows, and your internal landscape grows quieter.
Layered into this experience, sound healing works not just around you, but through you. Vibrations from instruments resonate within the tissues, meeting the rhythm of your breath and amplifying the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore. Together, breath and sound create a somatic dialogue—one that helps the body process, release, and reorganize from within.
Each session is designed to calm the nervous system and reestablish harmony, allowing you to access deeper states of awareness while staying grounded in your body. As your system settles, you may notice shifts not only in how you feel—but in how you perceive, respond, and connect to your inner truth.
Realign your energy on all levels—emotional, physical, and spiritual—as Joanne “Jo” Adducci and Krista Pfohl guide you through a deeply restorative journey of self-discovery and growth.
How It Works (The Somatic Connection):
Activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS)
Downregulated breathwork gently transitions the body out of survival states (fight, flight, freeze) and into restoration. As sound vibrations wash over you, they reinforce this shift—giving the body sensory cues that it is safe to let go.
Regulates Heart Rate & Blood Pressure
Slow, intentional breathing—especially with extended exhales—signals the heart to slow. Sound further entrains the body, offering rhythmic patterns that support coherence between breath, heartbeat, and brainwaves.
Improves Vagal Tone
The vagus nerve responds to both breath and vibration. Practices like 4-7-8 or coherent breathing, paired with resonant tones, stimulate this pathway—enhancing your ability to return to calm more efficiently.
Releases Tension in the Body
The body holds stories in muscle and fascia. Conscious breath begins the softening; sound acts like a gentle internal massage, helping to loosen deeply held tension and encourage natural release.
Creates a Sense of Safety
When breath slows and sound surrounds you, the nervous system receives consistent signals of safety. This combination supports the body in shifting out of hyper-vigilance and into a state where healing and integration can occur.
