Meditation for Spiritual Activism
Create the World you want to live in
(while healing yourself!)
We see evidence of major shifts happening in the world around us. While the imagery is disturbing and the emotions we are experiencing are intense, we are being urged to hold a different type of space.
It's time to step out of the loop of confusion and chaos and Envision and Create the world you want to see. This meditation is holding high vibrational space for the creation of our next evolution.
This process may not be easy, as we will be working with techniques to come into complete neutrality.
This is not a spiritual bypass or burying our heads. This is looking squarely at these troubling events and using the energy to create.
This Meditation is for you if are:
Looking for a meaningful way to transmute the chaos of the world
Looking for a spiritual community
Ready to heal the emotional wounds being triggered
Having a “spiritual awakening.”
Ready to evolve into your next chapter
Ready for reduced anxiety and mental chatter
Curious or are a “spiritual seeker”
Wanting to feel aligned with a deeper purpose
The Process: Meditate inside our outside the capital. We are gathering in an informal way with common intention to create a new world of peace, equity, social justice and love. There are no planned speeches. This is simply a meeting of the collective. If you’re later, no worries! Just arrive and meditate.
Suggested Methods:
1)Heart Meditation. Drop into your heart center (heart chakra) and draw any emotions or energy into the heart. Say, “I love and accept the part of me that is (fill in the blank).” For example, “I love and accept the part of me that is feeling so angry about injustice.” Allow this energy to heal you as well as our collective. Whenever you have emotions arise, Love and Accept that part. As you are ready, hold the vision of life as you want to see it. Continue the process and allow whatever arises to guide you!
2) Actively Transmute Energy. Start with your heart meditation. Once you’re energy has settled, breath in the emotions you become aware of (possibly pain, anger, suffering) and breath out with the intention of shifting the energy. For example: Breathe in suffering, breathe out joy for all.
NOTE: These are simply suggestions. You will likely create a process as you continue the meditation.
Preparation:
Wear comfortable clothing.
Bring an open mind and an intention (what would you like to see more of in life).
Bring a Meditation cushion or blanket for additional comfort.
